My Christmas Card

I got this idea online at a site when searching for ideas. I feel in love with the ease to making this and very cute style. I hope you like it! Below is the instructions for how to make the very card above. Hope you enjoy and if you make one please post it for all of us to see.

Materials For
Homemade Christmas Card Ideas : Wreath Card

• scrapbook paper (various shades)
• Hot glue gun
• Scissors
• White card stock (folded into a 4 ¼" X 5 ½" card)
• Ribbon (color of you choice)

Instructions For
Homemade Christmas Card Ideas : Wreath Card

Begin by drawing a circle on the front of your folded white card stock. You can do this either freehand or by tracing something like a lid. Make the circle about 3" across.

Get your hot glue gun warmed up. Cut or punch a bunch of different size circle in various colors of your choice. Glue around the circle that you drew to form the outline of your wreath. 

  

Now that you have the basic structure of your wreath, begin gluing more of the circles down over lapping as you go to get the fullness and layers.

Now to finish your wreath, Tie a bow with your choice of ribbon and glue to the top of your wreath.

You are now done with your wreath card! Enjoy!

Altered Matchboxes swap @ MAS

Here's some matchboxes that i made for the swap over @ MAS. The theme was either Halloween or fall! Of course with my Goddaughter being born on Halloween so I am kinda partial. lol here's what I came up with. TFL! Not sure why they loading sideways because they arent like that on my computer but oh well again TFL!

Altered Rolodex swap @ MAS

Heres another swap I did over @ MAS. these are rolodex cards which i altered to fit the theme of CHOCOLATE! YUMMY!!!! I made each little box of chocolate and paper pieced each chocolate inside. lol it was fun. I used recollections paper that had a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows on it. I was drooling making this paper. JK!

So nothing big posting today will post a big one tomorrow. OMFG!!!! I was in a mini album page swap over Minialbumscraps.ning.com and it was under the twilight/ vampire group. I love Twilight needless to say! But anyway we made 5+1 for the swap. And we mailed 5 out to Nancy and she would send us 5 different ones back. Can I say beautiful, these ladies did an awesome job and I am in love. I am going to take theses and make a mini album and of course post on my blog. So keep your eyes out from my video. Its alot of work in these pages so I dont wanna just post pics. Off to work now ladies and gents. See you soon!

Good morning, Today I have this great tag that I made for a swap over at minialbumscraps.ning.com. the theme was Twilight w/ Twist. and The color we were to use were red, black, and white. we also could not use the main characters of the movie so that meant NO Bella, Edward, or Jacob. So I chose Mary Alice or Alice most people know her as. What i did is use smooch in white to color her face and gold to do her eyes and of course red to do her lips.  I used red trim and red ribbon for her dress and then some bling as her necklace. I had some black rose trim and cut a piece to use as he hair piece, and use red rosette trim for the top. I used tulle for the ribbon. On the other side I use a piece of printed Acetate with a brad so that it will spin up. on there i have some flourish stickers and some flat back pearl type things. once that is flipped up there is a velvet paper with some more flourish and some flat back black bling, I also used some more of that black rosette trim on the corner with some pearl things sticking up with some more tulle. I will be adding all of Mary Alice's stats there. Like when she was bitten and the age she was before getting bitten and why she was bitten. also I will put her Vampire Husbands name. I hope you all like it!  TFL!

One more post for today. I am in a swap over at minialbumscraps.ning.com and our swap this month was to make a dress form tag and do it in shabby chic. This is my own dress form design so I hope you all like it!

I know I have posted alot today but I am just so excited to get back into posting on my blog. This album so not done I still have to add bling and trim and ribbon to most things but was so excited to show everyone. So i hope My sister likes this album.

Ok people. So thanks to my new friend Laurie Foster over at Scrapinvintage,ning.com, I am able to get back to blogging. She helped me learn how to remove all the Christmas stuff from my blog and how to get a cute new background going. So a Big THANK YOU to LAURIE! Your the best.

Now I have to get all my works of art together and get to blogging. Yay! Lets see how this goes in the next month.
